It started with a favour.

Lamecvs began in 2023, almost by accident. Friends from all over the world kept asking us the same thing: where to go in Portugal that isn't on every list, who to eat with, which house to sleep in. They were tired of mass tourism and wanted something quieter, rarer and closer to the real country.

So we began writing routes, detailed, personal itineraries built around each person's tastes, pace and curiosity. One journey led to another, word travelled, and what started as a favour between friends became something people asked us for by name.

We decided to open that door to everyone. Not to send more people to the same places, but to share the gems this country keeps for itself, carefully, in small numbers, and always with respect for the places and people who make them worth visiting.
